Deepak Pathak's CMU group released Pixel, a co-designed hardware-and-software system for general-purpose mobile manipulation, paired with Pixel-UMI, which learns whole-body manipulation from sensorized human demonstrations rather than teleoperation. The approach trains on first-person human data captured with handheld sensors, cutting the need for robot-collected training data. This is a research result, not a product, with no deployment numbers disclosed.
